I work with children and young people in the Children Adolescent and Mental Health Service(CAMHS). I see young people on a daily basis who struggle to get support for their mental health especially those who are neurodiverse, very often these young people miss out on support because they find it hard to engage. I have experience in working with these young people and have a very good knowledge Neurodiversity to offer therapeutic intervention they will find helpful.
About me and my practice
I am a person centred practitioner at heart because every element of my practice is focused purely on the client. The knowledge and skills I have acquired over the years in SEND and neurodiverse conditions has helped me develop ways to effectively work with neurodiverse clients in a person centred therapeutic way. I am friendly, have a good sense of humour and enjoy working with children and young people. I can offer talking therapy with elements of CBT and can use play as a part of therapy.
Experience
I have been qualified as a children and young people counsellors for the past year with experience of working in CAMHS Mental Health Support Team. I have worked with young people face to face, via telephone or virtually each experience has been different but equally rewarding and I have been inspired by the changes I have been able to make in the lives of the young people I have worked with.

Initial Consultation
Initial consultation will include an assessment of the clients needs, gaining an understanding of who they are and what kind of support they are looking for as well as their willingness to engage.
Fees
My fee are affordably priced at £40 a session. Each session lasting 50 minutes
